Each Valentine’s Day, I take a closer look at love through a woman's perspective. My piece, Ladies' Choice, celebrates a woman’s right to choose her partner—an act of agency, a declaration of power, and ultimately, a gift.

Right now, so much is being stripped away from women—our choices, power, careers, voices, income, and freedoms. The headlines, politicians, and society at large remind us daily that patriarchy is not just alive but gaining momentum. These rights, once fought for, are now under siege.

And yet, we still hold power. Our choices matter. Finding our right tribe, our right partner, is part of reclaiming that power.

In the year ahead, I know I’ll continue wrestling with my comics—unpacking the stories that feel most urgent to tell. My hope is to add a little light in the darkness.
